Assistant Professor

Dear Students,

Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology is an interdisciplinary program that brings together the fields of electrical, electronic, automotive, software, and mechanical engineering. Our program provides students with both an associate degree in hybrid and electric vehicle technology and the knowledge and skills necessary to serve as an electrical engineer on merchant ships.

The technical and maritime courses in our program are designed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the IMO STCW (International Standards on Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers). Our educational process is supported by theoretical courses as well as laboratory applications and field studies.

Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to receive an Associate Degree in Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology. Our graduates can transfer to bachelor’s degree programs in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Communications, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Control, Automotive, and Automation Engineering through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). Thanks to STCW-compliant training, they can work as Electrical Engineers on commercial ships. They can also find employment in technical positions in shipyards, port operations, land-based organizations of maritime companies, marinas, and industrial fields outside the maritime sector, such as energy, automotive, automation, communications, control, and electronics.

With years of intense interest and strong industry connections, we train our students to become well-equipped individuals in the field of future energy and vehicle technologies. We invite you to be part of this exciting technological transformation and join our Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology Program.
